The Sound Marketplace is an online marketplace where independent creators sell and license original music, sample packs, sound effects and lyrics, and where buyers can find work made by real people.
OUR MISSION
AI tools can now produce endless music in seconds, and much of it is trained on work by artists who were never asked or paid. That floods marketplaces and makes it harder for buyers to know what they're getting, and harder for real creators to be found. The Sound Marketplace exists to give original work a home where it isn't buried, and where the people who made it are the ones who get paid.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
We scan before we list. Every track and lyric uploaded to The Sound Marketplace is scanned for AI-generated content and checked for copyright conflicts before it goes live. Work that doesn't pass review isn't listed.
Creators keep 95%. We take a 5% commission on each sale. Sellers set their own prices and are paid out weekly through Stripe.
Licenses in plain language. Each license tier lists its stream limit and what's included, from an MP3 lease up to an exclusive sale that removes the track from the marketplace.
One membership for buying and selling. Members can buy, sell and license on the same account.

HOW WE PROTECT CREATORS AND BUYERS
- Tracks and lyrics are scanned for AI-generated content and copyright conflicts before they go live.
- Sellers can add their voice tag to previews. Full-quality files are only delivered after purchase.
- Exclusive licenses remove a track from the marketplace so no one else can license it.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never store card details.
